Community Outreach

St. Andrew’s has a deep history of reaching out into our community and actively participating to make lives better. We serve those who enter our doors and people we meet in the community. If you are interested in learning more about any of these programs or volunteering, please contact us.

Pumpkin Patch

Our annual fall outreach is a popular & well-loved, family tradition in the community during the month of October. The patch is known for its photo opportunities, wide selection of pumpkins, and outreach events. As a highly visible fall event, the community has given St. Andrew’s the nickname of ‘The Pumpkin Church.’

St. Andrew’s first Pumpkin Patch was in 1998. In recent years, we have received approximately 160,000 pounds of pumpkins and have averaged 20,000 visitors each year. About 200 children come with their schools. Our patch has been repeatedly ranked in the top 10 in the nation for non-profit fundraising sales. Funds raised from the patch have helped support mission trips in the USA and Costa Rica, Hurricane Harvey Home Repairs, St. Andrew's Preschool, & many local outreach projects.
